The Corporation de service des notaires du Québec, a subsidiary of the Chambre des notaires du Québec, has been a shareholder of the Financial since 1985.The Chambre des notaires du Québec is a professional order that groups together the more than 3,300 notaries in the province. Its primary mission is to ensure the protection of the public using its members’ services. To that end, the CDNQ supervises the training of candidates and their admission to the notarial profession, controls the practice of the profession, and offers a range of services to persons who may be dissatisfied with services they have received, fees they are asked to pay, or a notary's conduct.
