The Association des Architectes en pratique privée du Québec is a professional union grouping together some 360 architect offices of all sizes. The AAPPQ defends the interests of the architect offices in Québec and works to improve the Tariff of Fees of Architects with the Conseil du Trésor, the selection methods for architects in private and public corporations, the hiring conditions for architects, the drafting of contracts, the hourly rates paid to architects, and their insurance conditions. The AAPPQ represents Québec architects in private practice and strives to preserve the profession’s vital role.
